Founder & Managing Partner

Conforto_(B&W).gif David is the Founder & Managing Partner of Conforto Law Group. He concentrates in employment law and dedicates his practice to the exclusive representation of employees. David has substantial experience handling a diverse array of employment matters, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and employment contract disputes. Where necessary, he litigates matters to successful resolution in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. David also advises clients in non-litigation matters involving non-compete issues, reasonable accommodations, and the drafting of employment contracts.

David has been a contributing author to the Massachusetts Discrimination Law Reporter, which discusses key opinions issued by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination every quarter. In 2006, he co-authored, Without A Remedy: The Massachusetts Whistleblower's Brush With ERISA, which was published in the Suffolk University Law Review and which analyzes whistleblower claims in the ERISA context. In 2008, David was interviewed by Forbes Magazine in an article entitled, How To Wrestle With Non-Compete Contracts, in which he discussed the legal repercussions that employees should consider when signing non-compete agreements. David has also been quoted in the Job Doc section of the Boston Globe regarding employment-law related questions:
